Dr. George Gerakios’ passion for science and health first began while attending the University of South Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology. Following his undergraduate studies, he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine, solidifying his commitment to excellence in clinical dentistry and comprehensive oral health.
Dr. George is known for his calm and thoughtful approach to patient care. He values clear communication, patient education, and creating treatment plans that support long-term oral and overall wellness. His clinical interests include preventive dentistry, restorative care, and helping patients feel confident and comfortable throughout their treatment experience. He is committed to ongoing professional development and continuing education to ensure he provides the most modern and effective care possible.
The Personal Side
Originally from Tarpon Springs, Florida, Dr. George is honored to care for patients in the state he has always called home. His Orthodox Christian faith is a guiding influence in his life, shaping his values of compassion, humility, and service to others.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and both playing and watching sports. Whether he’s exploring a new destination or relaxing with loved ones, Dr. George brings the same grounded, genuine presence that patients experience in the dental chair.
